We seek a Human Resources Manager to support our Senior Leadership in the interpretation and administration of personnel policies and HR best practices. This position will work with both the London InterCommunity Health Centre and the Woodstock and Area Community Health Centre in a 60/40 split. Broadly, the Human Resources Manager will oversee recruitment and retention of staff and volunteers, provide coaching and resources to staff and managers in all matters of employment, ensure organizational compliance with relevant legislation and training, and support Health, Safety and Wellness initiatives.


  • Relevant undergraduate degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution;
  • Four (4) to six (6) years of progressive responsibility in HR management;
  • CHRL designation (or in pursuit of) would be considered an asset;
  • Working knowledge of applicable legislation that affects an organization from an employment perspective;
  • Extensive experience supporting multidisciplinary teams and knowledge of Ontario’s health care systems;
  • Superior conflict resolution and mediation skills;
  • Demonstrated flexibility, organizational and time management skills in a high pressure environment;
  • A demonstrated ability to build trusting relationships and influence others to a course of action;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with a strong attention to detail;
  • Coaching, and Adult Education instruction certification considered assets;
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Ability to effectively manage difficulty situations with respect, sensitivity, and confidentiality.
