Get Involved
There are many ways to get involved and support the London InterCommunity Health Centre. Two key ways are by volunteering or making a financial contribution to the organization.

Volunteer
Volunteers are vital to the success of the Health Centre! We can’t provide the services and programs that we do without the help of volunteers from the community. Today we have more than 150 active volunteers. Some volunteer to handle food service, children’s activities or registration at our special events. Others serve meals through our “Cooking for Kids” program at Lorne Avenue Public School. Still others are involved on a very regular basis providing peer support to newcomers, seniors, women and youth.
We are committed to ensuring that your experience as a volunteer is a good one. We want you to feel valued and that you have learned and benefited from your experience as much as we have. For that reason, we try very hard to match each volunteer with the right volunteer role. Sometimes we have openings for volunteers right away, other times it takes a bit longer to find just the right role.
As of January 2011, we are not actively recruiting for any vacant volunteer roles. If you would still like to complete the application form so that we have your information on file, please do so. Just note that we may not have an opportunity for you at this time. Thanks for your patience.
In addition, we have recently learned that it is taking 11 – 12 weeks for London Police Services to process a police check required for volunteering with vulnerable populations. Please keep this in mind should you be hoping to start a volunteer placement in the immediate future.
To get started, please complete our volunteer application form. You can download and print (then fax or mail) the Volunteer Application Form , or complete the online form below:
