The 2010 Summer Jobs for Youth (SJFY) project gave twenty youth who reside in North East London an opportunity for first time employment to become “job ready” while serving the community in meaningful ways.  There are five component parts of the project. These include: Flash Mob, Books to Theatre, Life Size Board Game, Fanshawe Farm and Employment Training.  In partnership with the City of London, LPL – Beacock Branch and Youth Opportunities Unlimited the youth are learning new skills, acquiring employment experience and engaging constructively with their community.
