Volunteer Opportunity: Gender Journeys Facilitator

The Trans Health Team is looking for a volunteer to co-facilitate our Gender Journeys program!

 Gender Journeys is an eight week program for folks who are thinking about transition or beginning their gender transition to explore the social, emotional, and physical aspects of transition in their lives. The volunteer would be responsible for adapting the current curriculum, planning the guest speakers and activities, communicating with participants, and facilitating the group.

 The ideal candidates would have lived experience of gender transition, strong group facilitation skills and knowledge of both Health Centre programs and  community resources. Candidates will need to be able to commit 50 hours to the program over the course of 3 months in the spring. Due to the expertise and commitment required to fulfill this position, an honorarium will be provided. See role description for more details.
